Psychotherapy services

We believe in each person's innate ability to heal. Satisfaction, ease and vitality are possible. Yet time and again, the same struggles can show up at work or in our relationships. We know it's hard to break the cycle. Other times, life changes and traumatic events challenge our ability to cope and accomplish what we need.

Often our deepest emotional wounds occurred within relationships; so too we can heal in relationships. Our therapist John Drollinger, LICSW, offers clients a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship to foster healing and self-discovery. You and your story are at the center of our work together. With us, you always belong.

Whatever has brought you here, we look forward to getting started.

Our approach

We use a variety of approaches to help you create a rich and meaningful life, and we collaborate with each client to identify what feels most effective. We specialize in somatic psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, attachment theory, exposure therapies, and other cognitive-behavioral strategies. Our work is informed by neuroscience and integrates body-oriented approaches in traditional talk therapy. We believe all people have the right to be, become and belong.

In therapy, we attend to the ways in which the ideas, actions and policies in our communities, cultures and families can be sources of both pain and resilience. We are committed to providing queer- and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and we believe in the collaborative exploration of all intersections of identity that feel important to you. We also recognize climate grief, existential dread and eco-anxiety as legitimate responses to a global climate crisis and, therefore, important areas of attention in therapy to help you better navigate our changing world.
